Caring for your skin before a workout is as important as after it. My pre-workout skincare regime is easy and simple. I do intense training five days a week. As I tend to sweat a lot, especially during my cardio and kickboxing sessions, I ensure that the products I use before my workout are not greasy and non-runny. I like products that are natural, hydrating and have mattifying properties.
These days I am using some fabulous products that can be applied anytime in the day, though they work really well for me before a workout.
Try them out and let me know how they worked for you.
KAMA ROSE JASMINE FACE CLEANSER
This is a Paraben and SLS-free cleanser. I gently apply it and do a quick massage all over the face, including the eye area and then, rinse it off.
The ingredients in this product are extremely hydrating, pure and gentle. It also has a refreshing fragrance.
URIAGE THERMAL WATER
This goes after the cleanser. Uriage is one of the leading dermo-cosmetic brands. The product is suitable for all skin types, even for the most sensitive skin.
I let my skin absorb all the natural ingredients present in this rich mineral-based water. This one has proven effective, increasing skin hydration level to 32 per cent. The water is moisturizing, healing and has a soothing effect.
AYCA JASMINE ALOE VERA GEL
This goes third. Ayca Aloe Gel is amazingly moisturising, lightweight and watery. I have tried it even before applying a serum – it is that light! When applied, it gets absorbed instantly unlike other Aloe gels, which are slightly thick in consistency. It is all-natural and smells divine.
SUNCOTE GEL SPF 30
This is the last and the most important one. I don’t leave the house without my sunblock. I have been using Suncote Gel for a long time now. Even after applying a generous amount, it leaves no grease, no white cast, and is mattifying. It is my perfect pre-workout sunblock.
I believe a fine skincare regimen is also a form of workout. So, while you exercise to keep fit, try these products to keep your skin healthy and glowing.
