Exercising can be a great way to detoxify and get that coveted dewy glow, but sweat accumulation can trigger breakouts if you don’t maintain a proper skincare regimen. Last week I had shared my pre-workout skincare routine. Today I will give you some post-workout skincare tips that will keep your skin healthy and beautiful after a grueling gym session.

I have dry, sensitive, skin that is prone to pigmentation. All the products I use help protect, brighten and hydrate my skin. These days I am using the following products right after my workout.

PETER THOMAS ROTH- 3% GLYCOLIC SOLUTIONS CLEANSER

I was eyeing Peter Thomas Roth products for a long time and finally decided to pick a few in Munich. This amazing, gentle, exfoliating, oil-free, anti-aging cleanser removes all kinds of impurities, sweat, excess oil and dead skin cells. It has my favourite glycolic acid in a tiny dose that helps brighten my skin and leaves it soft as a petal.

FRESH-ROSE DEEP HYDRATION FACIAL TONER

This goes on second. The name says it all. The toner is proven to increase hydration by 46%, which stays six hours after application! What makes this product even more precious is that it is alcohol-free. Infused with rose petals and rose oil, this facial toner prepares your skin for serums, and, you all know my love for serums!  After cleansing, gently sweep the drenched cotton pad all over face and neck, and, you will instantly feel the goodness of the rose oil invigorating your skin.

OBAGI PROFESSIONAL-C SERUM 20%

Now that your skin is ready for serums, it’s time to reach out for the Obagi Professional –C Serum 20%. I’m obsessed with serums and cannot even begin to tell you the amazing benefits a good potent vitamin C serum has. This one is my favourite for it tightens, tones and evens out my skin tone. Packed with antioxidants and made of an advanced form of Vitamin C, this serum is a magical potion that prevents premature signs of aging, promotes collagen production and brightens dull complexion. Just apply a few drops all over the face and neck to boost your skincare regime.

CAMU CAMU POWER CX 30 VITAMIN C BRIGHTENING MOISTURIZER 

Next comes the moisturizer and I am so in love with this hydrating, light-weight moisturizer, which my skin absorbs beautifully. The moisturizer is made of Camu Camu berry, which is a potent superfruit from the Amazon and provides 30 times more Vitamin C per ounce than an average orange. The moisturiser has potent anti-aging properties, and firms, hydrates, tones and brightens up my skin. It is so perfect for my skin type and addresses all my skin concerns.

Last, but certainly not the least, is the sunscreen.
